Our Mission

The Unjustly Served Foundation is dedicated to confronting military sexual trauma by protecting service members, supporting survivors, and preventing future harm. We work to ensure that every person who serves is treated with dignity, respect, and fairness—and that those affected by military sexual trauma are protected, heard, believed, and empowered throughout their journey toward healing and justice.

We protect service members by advocating for safer military environments, stronger safeguards, transparent reporting processes, and systems that respond appropriately when harm occurs. We support survivors by connecting them with information, resources, advocacy, and assistance while honoring their individual experiences, choices, privacy, and right to have a voice in the decisions that affect their lives.

We prevent future harm through trauma-informed education, public awareness, policy advocacy, institutional accountability, and meaningful systemic reform. By identifying gaps, preserving critical information, promoting responsible leadership, and strengthening accountability at every level, we seek to address not only individual acts of misconduct but also the conditions that allow abuse, retaliation, silence, and institutional failures to continue.
